Our family literacy calendars are designed to reinforce reading fundamentals and the love of reading.
They say that April showers bring May flowers, and this month’s calendar includes a few selections celebrating rainy spring weather. The month that contains April Fool’s Day has a lot of other wacky holidays as well, including Peanut Butter and Jelly Day, National Pretzel Day, and International Bat Appreciation Day. More commonly recognized special days are celebrated as well.
